Amazing! Thursday Oct 7th 2010

All I did was CALL the Vet for an appt.   I hung up the phone (I was in the living room..SHE was in the bathroom. I had not even moved but I saw her shoot out of the bathroom for under my bed as fast as she could go.  I wasn't even feeling any tension..not then.  That was amazing.  She doesn't understand the conversation.  Just some words that pertain  to her like bed..breakfast, supper, treat, brush- stuff like that.  She'll stay under there an hour or more and when she comes out to get a drink I hope to catch her.

Man, I just wish she would make it easy on us both.  Never going to happen.

  1. SIS I think cats can secretly tell somehow what the heck is going on. You must have mentioned VET or Dr in the same sentence as She.. I knew she could spell! Ha!

  2. Cats understand English. They just choose to make us think they don't.

I knew that she was brilliant and now you know.

  4. Maybe they should have made Spider Man a Cat Man and he'd have about the same thing going on. Sensing danger or major dislikes seems to be natural as the day is long for felines. Like kids I guess...spellilng it out just doesn't work...nor does even thinking it apparently!

In here some an old people's home they have few cats and they can tell when people became very sick you know what that means Sis?
I hope you are cleverly enough to trick Miss Catt to the vet.
some specially her favorite treat that you can give to her ....
A good luck with you Sis:-)

  9. I've been around animals my whole life, mostly with cats and dogs, and came to realize many years ago that they have a form of ESP.
My Dad had an old dog named Sam. When it came time to take him to the Vet, Dad had to concentrate on taking him to the farm. If he even thought about the Vet visit, ole Sam would run off for the day.
Also, my Mutts also seem to know when I'm about to take them to the farm. They just get super hyper.

  10. How do they do that? I know our cats seem to understand what we say, especially Snickers. And our little dog just amazes me what he understands. Smart critters!
