October 5th, 2010

Here is a current one.  However that word is supposed to be spelled.  It's a homonym with currant which I think is a fruit.  I can't spell homonym either.  Our spell check doesn't work right now.

Anyhoo, the house reeks like nobody's business because David was here painting from 0800 sharp till 1500.  He painted the living room and foyer.  Oh a room always looks so much better when there is a fresh coat of paint.  I have the one wall darker than the other 3 and I'll put a picture in.  Can't hang any pictures or the tapestry of course till tomorrow.

I did get all the gemstone roughs back into the china cabinet..man, what an ordeal to put them in a bin all cushioned and to array them again on the shelves.

The Admiral departed for her under the bed ante chamber and thought about things the entire time the painter was here.  She must have crossed those wee leggies as she never came out to use her litterbox.

I've been around to see you today..good to see the blogging going on. ♥

  5. I like the smell of paint. It's a new dawn and a new day Carole as far as blogging is concerned! Looks like many had stopped on Spaces because of the apathy shown by the teams. Now its all moved, they are refreshed and invigorated!

  6. Looks great. I wish I had some wall for color in our log house. Its gets quite dark looking in here sometimes. Its nice in the winter when the sun is low and shines right to the back of the rooms though. Oh I just can't get focused to sit and get my blogs reblogged over here. I don't want to start blogging new on a Window to my World until I get the old ones in. Just being stupid.. I also still have to figure out why my updates aren't showing in the following updates. having a some beautiful weather here but cold nights. Have a great rest of the week.. Hugs Carrie
