Trouble here at the house for now

Hoping all of you had a good Christmas and a good week so far.

The boys, 2 of them, are still here which is a good thing as during the day it distracts me somewhat from the fact that my little one is in the Veterinary Hospital for an unknown (yet) ailment.  I am waiting for a call from the Vet to see what  the calcium levels are as her blood was sent to the Veterinary School at the University of Tennessee for a double check as it is highly unusual for calcium levels to be high.

Meanwhile, I will see you at your blog houses soon..I'm so sorry to be late.

  1. Here's some info on hypercalcemia...it can be serious or nothing, not that that is comforting...you are in my thoughts.

  2. Carole, don't you think a thing of visiting around Blogville. All that counts is Admiral right now and we are all praying for her and for you. I know how scary it is when so much is unknown, and even worse when they're not with you and having to be at the vet's; I have cried buckets during the same times. But know that she's in good hands and being cared for well. I am sending her soft strokes from my mind to her's and sending you a heartfelt hug as well.
    XOXOXO

  5. I can't tell you how sorry I am that this came up Carole. It seems that these things often seem to come up during the holidays and it tends to suck the joy right out of it. I pray that this is soon resolved and you hear some good news. Praying for you all.

  6. Sorry to hear about the Admiral... it is sad when "family members" get ill, but, seems worse during the Holidays.
Hope she can get back to her old self real soon.

  11. Carole,My goodness, I am sorry you and Admiral are having such a hard time right now, and hope she is feeling better real soon. I know how it feels when our little furry friends are sick, and how sad and anxious it makes us feel.
Thoughts and prayers for you both.
    Hugs, Dianne

  12. I sure do feel for you, Carole. After what we went through with Sam I know how helpless it makes you feel when the little ones are ill. We'll be praying.

  13. I'm sorry I missed out here. I've been negligent, too much going on here. TN son and kids are here. I do hope she gets over this soon.
