Wednesday

I took this picture last Spring.  OH I can't wait to see these sights again.  :-)

The sun has made its way through the cloud cover just enough to give us a taste of cheer.  But it's playing hide and seek,,mostly hide.  However the couple of patches of blue that occasionally show is fabulous.  AND I could turn out the lights in the living room finally.  They have been blazing since LAST Wednesday when all of this snow started in my area.

I have been out, done my thing and stopped at McDonald's (rare for me to do..very) and got myself a Big Mac.  Sometimes you just have to have one.  Just as with Burger King..when you have to, just go get one and quit craving one.

Oh, and a sentence here to say, while I appreciate the kind replies and thoughts, I STILL don't buy it. (2 blogs ago)

Now, to the papers and another cuppa coffee.  Join me?  I have plenty.  ♥

  1. News reports in Canada said that the cause of the bird deaths was alcohol poisoning from eating fermented grapes, forget just where they ate them. Vineyard, obviously. Not sure if that makes more sense or not.

  5. We had a lot of snow last couple of days, but we finally see sunshine today :-) The photo of blue sky and white clouds is so beautiful. I miss spring.
I agree with you, sometimes you have to have a meal at Mcdonald's! I love their cheeseburger :-)

  6. Personally I'm a Burger King guy. A whopper with cheese is my weakness. I haven't had one in 4 years though. Very tasty but really bad for you. It's not easy to keep 30 extra pounds at bay. Look at it this way. We're almost halfway through Jan. We deal with Feb. then and things start to turn. Why worry about it? You can't change it.

  8. We have had 2 days this week with sunny skies, but with the nice sky comes the very cold. Tonight it is going down to -30C. The forcast says it is going to get warmer next week, around -9C for day temps. Right now it is -23C or -9F.

  9. Well...we can finally put an end to the "You're not buying it" problem with the birds.

  11. We just got done have almost 2 weeks of beautiful blue skies with lots of sun. But today got the big dump of almost 2 feet. That make an accumulation of 3 ft. Hubby couldn't make it back up the driveway pullying the V plow. Had to disconnect. I looove the snow and winter. Only have a couple more days here. Just wish I could go snowshoeing. Wish I could do a lot of things I can't now. Glad to hear Miss Catt is doing better. Actually in places they leave the grapes on longer in cold weather to get Ice Wine. It becomes quite concentrated when it freezes. I no nothing else about all the news around the world. I have not read or watched any for over 2 weeks now. Now I come here and find out the world is going crazy with weather and everything else. I can be so isolated in my valley. Wishing you warm sunny rays to come to and those beautiful blue skies with whispy clouds floating by. Hugs Carrie

  14. Did someone say Big Mac? Oh lord, my taste glands are now watering like crazy. I agree, if you want it that bad, go get it. Ever have a 5 Guys burger? See if the chain has opened there yet. If they have and you have just one bite, well, you aren't going to speak to me anymore for leading you down the garden path.
    XOXOXO

  15. Hope we see some of that sun you're talking about. Things did brighten up about sun down today, so hopefully. We've had snow flurries for 3 days. Guess that's better than heavy snow. :-)
