It is indeed TUESDAY! Tomorrow is WEDNESDAY!!!

I got it down, folks. (sheesh, that was a little bit embarrassing yesterday..which was MONDAY!!!)

I am still trying to get ready for the day. I am dressed, yes, but until very recently I have been playing with Miss Catt off and on. I no sooner get started with something and she indicates she wants to play. That's very important to her health (seriously) so I stop and play since I can. She got me up too early again, so I have been at her service quite a while.

I am going to make that good red potato and chicken dish again..this time for a friend. I think a little very premium vanilla ice cream for dessert with a drizzle of chocolate sauce. Oh man, I can almost smell that cooking as I wrote. Not sure which day I will do it..just soon, I know.

High winds predicted here and even higher in the mountains. But trash can turnover winds are about to land on us along with rain. Maybe some snow Friday and Saturday. We will see as they refine the predictions.

So, ehhh, what's up, Doc(s)?

  1. We know that our girls have to be a priority. After I got a kiss on the elbow, I had to get up to care for #1. She did not want to go back to bed. Don't be embarrassed about the day mix up. I'm guilty as so many others.

  2. Been there, done that, too many times. Days kind of run together once in awhile. Her Highness wanting to play is good to hear. She is feeling better it seems.

  3. Good Morning Twin, I wish I could be there to try your potato dish as it sounds so good. Me, I am in the kitchen cooking up a storm.
I think I would rather have rain than snow, definitely not ice.

  4. "Trash can turn over winds"....that's a great way of describing them and a new favorite phrase for me. That monster storm is supposed to bring us rain and wind, maybe a little ice, followed by much colder and snow showers by the end of the week. After highs in the mid 50s this past weekend I am more than ready for spring!

  5. It can be windy here too...we have little to break the winds that howl down from the mountains through the prairie. It's ten below zero this morning which already has worn on me but it didn't stop Lovely and I from going to a movie last night which was a real treat. I see the weather in the Philippines and Ghana is in the upper eighties...wow! We will hit the forties in a couple days...now that seems warm...is that pathetic or what?

  6. I so completely understand the day thing..no need to be embarrassed. With all you've been through with Miss Catt, she definitely rates being your priority.
The rain hasn't started yet, although the wind is picking up a bit. The temp is 54.
I have a soft fur baby laying right tight against me. It is such a cozy feeling. I'll check on pics of our babies and post them.

  9. It's amazing, that big storm you are all talking about is also supposed to hit here in eastern Canada, as well. I think we are going to get a little of that storm here in Edmonton also. Let's hope no more snow.

  10. 50 degrees here today and I'm yet still in these ratty pjs. You know why. Lol, I have got to stop writing on that darn other blog! I had a bunch of plans for today and never made it out of the house -- got a good pic of Sam, though :D
Yes, the fur babes take priority for sure. I think I've found a solution. I'm signing up both of mine with Driver's Ed, then maybe I'll get out.
    XOXOXO

  11. So it's Tuesday already? Tell that to my pjs. I had every intention in the world to get out today and get things done, but you know how it is: the "other" blog. Well, at least I got the blog walk done and a great pic of Sam this morning. Haven't written a human blog in a week or so. You're right about the fur babes taking priority. I just thought of a solution to get me out of these pjs and out of the house. I'll enroll both cats into Driver's Ed. Yeah, that's the ticket! XOXOXO
