Autumn is here for sure

Leaves are starting to fall..within 4 weeks they'll all be off.  Hard to imagine when it seemed so long before they came out in the Spring.  Well..seasons change no matter what we say about the matter.  :-)

I went to actually work out for the first time since my accident,  Can we say stretched, boys and girls.  My gluts and hamstrings are moaning with the challenge and my knees aren't too happy either.  First time I have gone to a paid facility in ages.  I usually do this stuff at home but I am in sad shape from a lack of exercise what with having to baby this and that due to bones healing etc etc.  I'll try to get going well before I stop there and continue at home.

I took this Saturday.

  1. Well, you get high marks from me for working out at all! Gees, the 100 year old man who ran the Toronto marathon on the weekend is in FAR better shape than I am!

  5. Good for you Carole. I started on the stationary bike yesterday. I pedaled for about 8 minutes with no weight. I couldn't believe that I had no pain when pedaling, I didn't push myself though. I did feel it this morning in my groin. Have a great week, and thank you for your kind comment on my blog.

  8. Fall colors are a photographers dream I think. I still have one rose bush that has flowers on it. You will probably feel it tomorrow. Hope it's not too bad. Watching "Dancing" while doing this and the same three still need to go.

  9. It's certainly the time for season's change isn't it Carole? I couldn't believe that we were in the 30s this morning. I continue to pray that your road to recovery will be as free from bumps as possible.

  11. I'm proud of you for going to work out. Once your hand/arm gets a little stronger I think yoga would be perfect for you. See if the gym offers some gentle yoga classes. If not, see if there's a studio that offers a nice community class.

  12. It's autumn already...and will be winter soon. Time passes so fast! I enjoy seasons change. I lived in Florida long time ago but it was summer most of the time. I really enjoy four seasons in Georgia.
It's great you worked out! I hope too much pain did not come next day.
