Scary stuff. A Tornado went through Edmonton in 1987. Did lots of damage as well as kill many Edmontonians. It was called Black Friday. I was working in the basement, in a photo studio in downtown Edmonton. We got a warning on the radio and everything stopped to see what is going on in the weather. It hailed like crazy and we had to rescue all of our photo lab equipment. Everything had to be taken off of the floor and raised at least 4 feet as the water was beginning to rise in the basement. The water was up to 3 feet when it stopped. We were very lucky not to loose any equipment that day.
We dodged the bullet but there was a confirmed touchdown west of us last night.
Is yout car ok? I am glad you are safe! xx
Yikes - so happy you are okay. Dang Mother Nature - she always wins and she's so screwed up again this year.
Oh, I keep forgetting to tell you how gorgeous your flower is. Beautiful!
We do hope the damage at your house is limited to the barbecue cover. Yikes!
Oh my gosh. Those must have been some good sized hail. Hope it didn't do too much damage to the car and roof?
OMG those hail stones must have been huge. Hope you are ok and how is your home and car? Take care my friend.
I have been thinking of you and checking radar during all these storms - glad you are alright.
WOW! Even the hail stones are bigger in America!!! lol
Man, what a season this has been so far! I just pray you're going to stay safe through this. Our nasty season doesn't come until later...usually May/June. God be with you and protect you Carole!
Well Sis from the looks of those holes I would hate to see your car if it was not under a roof of somekind. Hail marble size can cause a lot of damage..some were bigger than that. Repeat what JOE said God be with you and protect you Sis,. XXOO
Wow, hope that's the only damage you had. We've been very lucky up here, what with only snow and cold. Have knocked on wood, crossed fingers and prayed that it stays that way.
Holy smokes! That is scary. I'm glad you and Katie are safe, Carole.
