You Just Can't

Sometimes you have to realize that you just cannot solve all the problems in the world. Not even in your immediate world. It's a hard lesson- and for me needs to be re-learned over and over.

All the good intentions in the world will not make a wrong, right.  All the reasoning you put forth can't make others listen and too, maybe your rationale is flawed and you're the last to know.  That's just the way it is.

A person with an overabundance...even an abundance of care and love can only do so much at any given time despite wishes to the contrary.

It's a good thing to quit trying to change the unchangeable, immutable.  That does NOT mean give up nor does it mean to stop looking for ways to help others.  It just means here in this blog anyway, to do ones best and let go, figuratively speaking, of the steering wheel and let our Maker make the decisions, which he does anyway without our help, thankyewverymuch.  :-)

  1. Hi Carole, it's good to care but one has to draw a line as to how much one cares. Otherwise it will start to eat at you. So to care is good but don't over do it. Have a great day Carole.

  8. We must trust. No matter the amount of worry we do it will not change anything. No matter how many mountains we try to scale it will not change an outcome whatever there is in store for us out in that vast out land of the "future". It just will. The hardest thing to do is release control over what we really don't control anyway. Blessing to you dear one and to all who have a need.

    *hugs*

  9. I swerve on the road many times when it comes to what to say and not say on-line...right now I'm more quiet. I avoid absolutes that suggest this is how it will be from now on...day by day, one step at a time. This applies to us online or not.

  11. A very wise post, my friend. We are human and have limits. We can only do our personal best, and then we have to be okay with that. Hugs.
