Out the Back Door

I am sure fortunate to have these woods as my own.  I am the neighbors up and down the street that is.  But as I have mentioned before all of us have property to the city/county line.

Ain't it purty?  All of these are off the deck.

  1. Dearest Carole,
    Guess you're tricking us here... somewhat as we have NO leaves in sight and NO GREEN LAWN... Hate this dreary time of the year and can't wait for the first red leaves from the swamp maple to unfold.
    But we all need our time off for completing other things... Never enough time in a year though.
    But today I could make some photos needed for upcoming posts and it is sunny! Yay, what a dream, it changes the world so very much. Kitties are happy, their friends come strolling over for a visit and they lie on the driveway or on the patio tiles.
    Floors are mopped again, now it made sense without rain. Otherwise it is wasted time.
    Sending you hugs,
    Mariette

  3. This is the book I parlhered after reading about it in the Doth Nouveau magazine from June 2010 connecties hebben grote gevolgen -connecties have large consequences,
    Quite interesting how everything We do or say tends to ripple though our network, Having and impact on our friends(One degree-three degree)instead of simply knowing who our friends are, and perhaps our friends We can pecr beyond our social horizon and see our place in a vast a wide social network,
    A long time I love you Sis!

    2. Dearest Carole and Michiko,
      Guess Michiko is talking here about my older post: {The Surprising Power of our Social Networks}
      Indeed, the Dutch saying: 'Connecties hebben grote gevolgen' is so true. I've treasured the one with you both!
      Hugs,

    1. Nope. Straight down the hill and heavily wooded with old dead fallen trees and lots of snakies and bramble bushes.

  5. Just to have the woods so close to hand is magical. I’d walk in them all the time. I wonder how my foster-cat Parker would like to go for a walk in the woods?

  6. Beautiful, dear friend. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! You definitely are fortunate to have these woods as your own. It's like living in paradise or heaven. Reminds me of home, Mama and Daddy's house had woods like this behind and beside our house. Ooohh... thanks for the walk down memory lane.
