Cat Bloggers, ( well, two of them anyway) Full Speed Ahead!

I discovered the other day that Teddy and his Mom...One Spoiled Cat also clean house, (we do a big clean),  on Saturday- Caturday just as mom and I do.  We, that is mom and I,  started about 0930, and we finished pretty much at 1230.

Mom said she may go over the kitchen floor tomorrow morning.  But not now.  Mom and I love to sit after all this and look at the vacuum cleaner marks on the floor.  We wish we could fly so we wouldn't mess it all up with our footsteps.  I know I said this before and also mentioned that there is not one square inch of carpet in the entire house that doesn't have Katie's paw prints completely covering it.  Mom can see every millimeter I have trodden in the day and night.  Took up the big area rugs too and vacuumed under them.  Laid them back out.  It helps keep Katie from scratching the main caret.  I don't care about the area rugs.  She has done enough pulling/scratching of the main carpet.  I get down with cuticle scissors and cut off the fuzzy tufts she created.  Katie and I admire the gleaming polished wood tables too.  We both tend to be neat and only get to see the house looking that good for a few hours after finishing up.  Then. all the foot and paw prints start, and gotta have a splatter formed in the microwave.

Got up on a little kitchen step stool to clean the inside of the microwave too.  Man.  I keep things covered in there, but there is always something splattered regardless. before several days are up.   I would like to get up the "can do" attitude and polish-clean all the wooden kitchen cabinets.  The top ones aren't so bad.  It's crawling along on my hands and knees doing the bottom ones.

I made salmon patties last night.  Been months since the last time.  MY WORD! Were they delicious or what!!!.  Since it's just me here, I had them with two veggies last night.  I had salmon for breakfast and lunch today and I will have it again for supper.  LOVE the stuff..I think you can tell.

Oh, a Tuxedo wearing entity turned over two small and a larger trash basket in the night.  That little beast!

I truly don't mind.  It provides me with a smile, which I can sure use.  Sorta ran outta smiles here a few months ago.  Have to stock up again and she's doing her best.

OK.  You know I am having salmon again tonight.  A thick sandwich with two patties.  And a Dr. Pepper. I don't think any of you are going to beat a path to my door.  If that is a mistaken idea I have... you'd better get here early.

Time Moves Like a Tornado! Fast.

I just had a big bowl of my homemade vegetable beef soup. Oh, that is good.  I was going to make a homemade blueberry crumble for later but I'd have to go out again and get more blueberries.  I will.  Meanwhile, after the soup, I am having gingersnaps.  Love those.

Saw this on FB a few months ago..and I have to say it was funny.

We had a good Christmas as a family, but I am glad it is over and I am very glad to have gotten cleaned up.  Meant to say that one thing I got was an air purifier.  I never ever thought it would make such a huge difference for me.  I am no longer sounding as though I am gargling while talking.  I had no idea all that trouble with the back of my throat, the throat clearing which never helped,  and my stuffed-seeming nose was the fault of the air in here.  I always feel better when I go see the son who lives "over the mountains", and I always noticed that.  No doubt dander IS the problem here, though I had hoped that would be better after the carpet throughout the house was steam cleaned.  But this purifier...whoa nelly!  No "gargle speech" or at least reduced to a few times.  I can breathe better as well.  Thank you, Bruce.

Waiting on my stomach to say it is alright to exercise.  I should have thought of that before I ate.  But noooooooo. After then, look out, I'll be trotting.
