It's just us fellers here usually...and favorite fellers too, I will add. I have something to mention about this morning's happenings to you guys and ladies.
Well, knowing I was going to the car wash-- and you know how those blowers do blow, drying the car on your way out of the wash tunnel. The past several months my windshield wiper blade, drivers side , sent up a b-i-g- "Hail fellow, well met" sign to me. A long long piece of rubber stood straight up and wavered in the air proudly until the blowing stopped. I was always afraid it would ruin my wiper blade.
As it had been several years on those blades, I went to Advantage Auto Parts and asked for new ones and their free installation. I told them the make and model of the car. I asked for good wipers. He quoted ones that were waaaaaay too much in price. Then I said "mid-range, please". Do you know, that cost me $53.00? Fifty-three hard earned dollars for two windshield wipers! Last time a few years ago it was $20.00 apiece which I also thought was usurious. Then, I went to a store for shopping and opened my trunk to get out a magnetic decal (a cat one of course) that I stored there during the car wash. Kitties, there were several marks, scratches on the trunk deck.
Here are two photos. There are sparkles in the vehicle's paint. The sun was shining hard on the car so it looks like something else is going on, but it's just black with a very subtle sparkle. And you see the blue of the sky reflected too.
I went to ask them to come take a look. They videoed the entire car. I said anything else is not you all's fault. Just this on the lid. Hopefully I'll hear from them.
This is the best car wash in the surrounding areas and in town!
